Working in conjunction with Kildare County Council's Architectural services department, this project of 30 dwellings for Kildare Co. Council was created, completing a development in the village of Kilmeage. Within the context of the suburban zoning for the area, a sequence of external spaces was created, each with its own identity. While completing one side of the green open space for the whole development, elsewhere the houses are organsied around a square, a courtyard and the access road. A large 3-storey house at the entrance to the development provides an identifiable focus for the project in the context of the existing village.
